Hi. Welcome to the website of
Siobhan O'Neill

I’m a highly experienced communications professional, writer, journalist and content designer having worked across branches of media, marketing and PR for the past 20 years.

I have a specialist understanding of the hospitality and food service sector, and their many associated issues. From the obesity crisis to child nutrition, school dinners and public sector catering, to the impacts of Brexit, government legislation, and particularly sustainability and corporate responsibility.

I spent over five years as communications manager for an international third sector organisation, working with the world's leading hotel groups. You can view a portfolio of examples of my work by clicking the button above.

I now offer a range of services for companies, from traditional PR to digital marketing and social media strategies. How can I help you?

I've recently been working on a range of projects for a variety of small and big name brands, including a Staff Handbook outlining an organisation's ethos, policies and procedures.

I've also researched and written the first ever Sustainability Drinks Index. Sponsored by C&C Group, this 60 page report outlines the 2020 trends in sustainability for the drinks industry as well as key actions for players to take to improve their energy, water, waste and social responsibility.

I also researched and co-wrote this Food Needs You report sponsored by Fourth. This details how every colleague in a foodservice business can play their part in preventing food waste, and the actions they should take to do that.  You can read that guide here.

I've conducted research and surveying for Compass, exploring their customers' views on healthy eating across a range of their sites, offering recommendations for how they can promote healthier dining to a broader demographic.


I've also written a number of city guides for Viking Cruises.
